Gower was the first place in Britain to be named an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With cliffs and woodlands ringed by sparkling beaches, the Gower peninsula is adored by walkers, climbers, kayakers and surfers


The 19 mile-long Peninsula starts at Mumbles and extends westwards.  It’s famous for its jaw-dropping coastline and Sandy beaches (from vast Rhossili Bay to cosy and secluded Pwll Du), rich history and local produce .  Inland you’ll find sheltered woodland and rolling grasslands; country pubs and fine food.  

 Historically it is of significance with caves and archaeological finds dating back to the Stone Age snd Bronze Age , making it a fantastic area to explore and adventure .

Beautiful deli in Mumbles on Newton Road , selling deliciousness! We love their Greek refillable olive oil , their Balsamic Glaze , the papaya goats cheese , chilli jam and chocolate panaforte ! All so yummy 😋

Beautiful gift from Rhossili Gallery . I love it - it has a beautiful weight , it’s unusual and it’s meaningful to us . Lovely gifts in there !

We love our mugs ! Bought from Katie at Gower Heritage Centre -Katie has a unique style of illustration and lots of her work is of the gorgeous Gower ! We also bought a glass chopping board with Whitford Lighthouse on it and it is spectacular when the light hits it .

Fabulous selection of champagnes wines , ales , cheeses , biscuits and chocolate ! In the heart of Mumbles offering delivery , I highly recommend this Valpolicella Ripasso they sell ! Oh and their dark chocolate orange bar is exceptional too 😋.

A warm and cosy venue with friendly staff and great food. Breakfasts until noon and then a selection of lunch items including their lovely stone baked pizzas ! They also do a selection of sweet treats and best of all is their coconut hot chocolate !!! Wow . They also do takeaway pizza sunset deals to enjoy whilst watching the glorious Rhossili sunset . 

The Lookout At Rhossili 

Believed to date from the 13th or 14th century, Culver Hole is sealed off by a sixty foot high stone wall, that resembles something out of an Indiana Jones film set. Legend has it that there used to be secret tunnel connecting it with the nearby salt house at Port Eynon for smuggling purposes and that carrier pigeons were also used to send messages between smugglers.

The walk to Culver Hole 

We provide Clay Pigeon Shooting in the very heart of Gower in Wales. The offer is for a 25 Clay Shoot Package although you can arrange to upgrade to a 40 Clay package for an added cost when you call to book your session. Shooting is over 4 stands with varying targets. We have a semi auto guns available for ladies if they wish. We also have a cafe that is open between March and October and we can arrange buffets etc. Fantastic venue and scenery.
